Location, Location, Location! Hotel Casablanca is right in the heart of New York City. The Big Apple does not require any introduction, as it is one of the most visited states and cities in the world. Casablanca is a boutique hotel that sits just a block away from Times Square. Moreover, the hotel’s perfect location allows you to wander around the main areas of NYC without any hassle.

If you don’t mind the hustle and bustle of the city, then the Casablanca Hotel is the perfect choice for any traveler that is looking for a homey feel, right in the heart of NYC. The Casablanca Hotel was the first hotel in NYC that offered running water in all the rooms. However, the historic hotel lives up to the expectations. It might not stand much chance against modern hotels, but it offers you a classic charm.

This Moroccan styled hotel offers six different room choices, so you can pick the one that fits your needs in the best way possible. Considering the hotel is in the heart of NYC, the room we stayed in was much larger than I anticipated. The Moroccan theme flows from the lobby into the bedroom as well, as there is Moroccan tile work and archway details over the bed.

Rick’s Café offers a complimentary breakfast, free refreshment throughout the day, and amazing wine and cheese during 5 pm and 8 pm. They offer remarkable service, as we received a bottle of champagne when we arrived. The mugs in the bar feature a logo of the hotel, which is a great addition. Moreover, if you are a book lover, you will simply love this hotel. The hotel is part of the Library Collection Hotel Group (just like Hotel  Elysee and the Library Hotel), that offers books to read everywhere. You can easily enjoy a perfect evening consumed by the Moroccan theme, while you read a great book.

At times you will feel like sitting in a Moroccan cafe, as they have paid special attention to all details. From Moroccan tiles, to Moroccan doorways, there is no part of the hotel that feels out of place. The hotel was inspired by the Movie Casablanca, and features great key details from the movie. If you pay attention, you will be able to see the similarities. One of the main reasons we loved staying at the Casablanca is the perfect Moroccan theme, great service, and the ideal location. Once we stepped out of the hotel lobby, we were right where we wanted to be. These were some of the main selling points for us, as we loved staying at the Casablanca, and will visit again.

You can book a room directly using the hotel website. However, you might want to book your room a few months in advance. As the hotel features a prime location, it is mostly booked.
