LEAVE EVERYTHING BEHIND AND TRAVEL THE WORLD

We are actually doing it! Finally! After months of thinking about it, planning and getting everything sorted out. Tourist Exclusive is going to be all over the world. We are living our first adventure. But how did we get here?

Lets start this story in France, 2015. We wanted to go on an adventure and didn’t have any plan. We wanted to start in Paris because, well it is the city of love. We booked a hotel for just one night and we let everything else over to faith. We traveled in France for over 2 weeks and loved every second of it. We went to Disneyland, Versailles, Mont Saint Michel, Bordeaux, Lourdes, Carcassonne, Avignon, Dijon and many more.

It was in these two weeks we decided we wanted to travel more. Every day was a new adventure, different people and crazy feelings. So we made a plan to take every opportunity to explore new cities, places and hotspots. Day trips turned into weekends and weekends turned into weeks.

Something changed for us. We were happy when we were traveling and miserable when we were home. Hotel rooms felt more like home to me than our appartement. After a lot of sleepless nights and long talks we decided we wanted to do something different with our lives. Everyone around us was buying a house, having kids or saving to do just that.

We want different things in life! We need to travel and go on adventures. We want to meet new people and make friends all over the world. And so in June 2016 we sold all our belongings, ended our contract on the appartement and quit our jobs. It was a heavy two months and really emotional. Saying ‘goodbye’ to our friends and family was one of the hardest things because we don’t know when we will see them again.

And now we are here. And here is Sainte Cecile d’Andorge in France. We are back in the country where everything started. We have been here for a week and we don’t know for how long we are staying. One night, there were a lot of falling stars and we wished for a life full of adventures for Tourist Exclusive.

One thing is for sure. We want to see the world and we didn’t put a time limit on our trip. A week, a month, a year, 10 years, who knows?

What would you wish for?
