If you’re looking for a place where you can best immerse yourself into their rich culture, Malaysia is a thriving multicultural and multilingual country that attributes its roots from Malay, Chinese, Indian and European influences. Kuala Lumpur, in particular, is a cultural melting pot that also takes pride in its modern and cosmopolitan vibe.
Sounds like an interesting destination to visit? For your next adventure in Malaysia, Lanson Place in Kuala Lumpur is a great accommodation to consider. It is located right in the heart of the country’s capital.
There are a lot of exciting tings to visit just in walking distance from Lanson Place! This means that travelers are literally situated in the center of everything. Lanson Place also has a shuttle you can use free of charge. This is the easiest way to reach the Pavilion shopping mall or other nearby destinations and pick-up time is from morning to about five o’clock in the afternoon.
Lanson Place has 48 floors all in all. The fifth floor is dedicated to amenities such as the three swimming pools (one lap pool, one crescent-shaped pool and one kiddie pool) and even a jacuzzi to combat that humid Malaysian weather. You can also drop off your kids at the indoor play area and maybe get some alone time at the library to get some work done.
Your home in the city
We stayed for three nights at the hotel and if we’re to describe Lanson Place KL in five words then “a home away from home” sums it up perfectly. It has this ambiance that makes it feel like an apartment. Here, you get the luxurious amenities and service of a hotel. However, the room feels more like a laidback space we can come home to after a long day’s work.
For those who are staying with family and friends, they have accommodations as amply-spaced as the two-bedroom and three-bedroom residences. We personally stayed in a one-bedroom residence. The 85 square meter accommodation goes beyond their offer of a plush king-sized bed.
The living room, the work area with Internet access and the fully-equipped kitchen really completes the home away from home vibe of the place. We even got panoramic views of the city and the KL Tower. Definitely a must-see when in Kuala Lumpur!
A spectacular view
Speaking of the views, one of the highlights of our dining experience in Lanson Place was the breakfast. And no, not only because of the menu but because of the view we got from the breakfast lounge. It sits on the 48th floor of the hotel — the topmost floor. This means that you get to revel in the breathtaking view of the cityscape as you sip a nice cup of coffee. Sounds like a great way to start the day, right?
To sum it all up, Lanson Place may seem like your typical high-rise accommodation. The charm lies in its homey ambiance and access to such a gorgeous view of Kuala Lumpur’s cityscape.
The amply-spaced units also make a great place to stay for business travelers as you get the five-star service of a hotel while also having the privacy that resembles the one you usually get when you’re at your own home. If you’re raring to experience all of these for yourself, do book your stay at the Lanson Place through their site!
